| The Japanese garden Sankeien was built by Hara Tomisaburo, a prominent Yokohama raw silk trader. Old buildings were dismantled and relocated here from different locations. It opened to the public in 1906 and attracted many visitors. The house across the lotus pond is the Hara family villa. |
