| The white building in the centre is the Omizuya, with a granite water basin donated by the Nabeshima Clan in 1618. This is said to be the first structure in a shrine washing place using a water basin rather than a naturally occurring stream or spring for cleansing hands. The basin is 1.2m wide, 2.6m long, and 1m tall. |
