| The Life of Shiohara Tasuke was written by a comic storyteller named Sanyuei Encho (1839-1900). It is a story about human nature. The musician Higashiya Koraku inherited the stage name "Rakuyu" in 1906. The name on the tablecloth reads "Asahikawa Tsujihiro," which is probably the name of the manager of Sasakiza Theatre as of 1905 (from "The New History of the City of Asahikawa, Volume 2 "). |
